The 1908 Washington football team was an American football team that represented the University of Washington as a member of the Northwest Conference during the 1908 college football season.[1] In its first season under coach Gil Dobie, the team compiled an overall record of 6â0â1 record with a mark of 3â0â1 in conference play, winning the Northwest Conference title, and outscored its opponents by a combined total of 128 to 15. Fred Tegtmeier was the team captain.
