1910 Manchester City Council election

Local election in Manchester From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Elections to Manchester City Council were held on Tuesday, 1 November 1910. One third of the councillors seats were up for election, with each successful candidate to serve a three-year term of office. The Conservative Party retained overall control of the council.[1][2]

Caused by the death on 8 February 1911 of Alderman William Trevor (Liberal, elected as an alderman by the council on 1 February 1905).[4][5]

In his place, Councillor John Harrop (Liberal, St. Clement's, elected 1 November 1897)[6] was elected as an alderman by the council on 22 February 1911.[7]
