- 10 September â Jean Sibelius's tone poem Luonnotar is premièred at the Three Choirs Festival in Gloucester Cathedral, UK, with an orchestra conducted by Herbert Brewer. The soloist is soprano Aino Ackté, to whom the work is dedicated.[1]
