The 1916 Washington State football team represented Washington State Collegeânow known as Washington State Universityâas a member of the Northwest Conference during the 1916 college football season. Led by second-year head coach William Henry Dietz, compiling an overall record of 4â2 with a mark of 2â2 in conference play, placing fourth in the Northwest Conference. The team played home games at Rogers Field, on campus in Pullman, Washington.
