The 1928 Prairie View Panthers football team represented Prairie View Normal and Industrial Collegeânow known as Prairie View A&M Universityâas a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1928 college football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Sam B. Taylor the Panthers compiled an overall record of 5â3â1 with a mark of 3â2 in conference play, placing third in the SWAC.[1]
