1937 Altrincham Municipal Borough Council election

1937 UK local government election From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The first elections to Altrincham Council were held on Monday, 1 November 1937. This was a new council to replace Altrincham Urban District Council. This election would create the entire 28-member council (three councillors to each ward and seven aldermen) to administer the municipal borough. Independents won overall control of the council.[1][2]
