The 1938 Howard Bulldogs football team was an American football team that represented Howard College—now known as the Samford University—as a member of the Dixie Conference and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAA) during the 1938 college football season. In their fourth year under head coach Billy Bancroft, the Bulldogs compiled an overall record of 2–5 with mark of 2–1 in Dixie Conference play and 0–2 against SIAA opponents.[1][2]
