College football season
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 1938 Ottawa Braves football team was an American football team that represented Ottawa University of Ottawa, Kansas, as a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) during the 1938 college football season. In their third season under head coach Dick Godlove, the Braves compiled an 8â0 record (5â0 against conference opponents), won the KCAC championship, and outscored opponents by a total of 134 to 18.[1] It was the first undefeated season in Ottawa football history,[2] a feat later repeated in 1960, 1961, and 1965.[1]
