The 1956 Irish Greyhound Derby took place during July and August with the final being held at Shelbourne Park in Dublin on 11 August 1956. [1][2]

The winner Keep Moving won £500 and was trained by Tommy Ferguson and owned by Mrs Kathleen McBride.[3][4]
