The 1961 Cork Junior Hurling Championship was the 64th staging of the Cork Junior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1895.[1]
The final, a replay, was played on 17 December 1961 at the Athletic Grounds in Cork, between Cloyne and Kilworth, in what was their first ever meeting in the final.[2] Cloyne won the match by 4–06 to 2–04 to claim their second championship title overall and first championship title in 22 years.[3][4]
