The 1969 Clare Senior Hurling Championship was the 74th staging of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Clare County Board in 1887.[1]
Newmarket-on-Fergus entered the championship as the defending champions.[2]
The final, a replay, was played on 31 August 1969 at Cusack Park in Ennis, between Newmarket-on-Fergus and Clarecastle, in what was their third consecutive meeting in the final. Newmarket-on-Fergus won the match by 9–13 to 3–06 to claim their 15th championship title overall and a third championship title in succession.[3][4]
