The 1970 Dublin Senior Hurling Championship was the 83rd staging of the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Dublin County Board in 1887.[1] The championship ran from 19 April to 13 September 1970.
O'Tooles entered the championship as the defending champions.[2]
The final was played on 13 September 1970 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Faughs and St Vincent's, in what was their fourth meeting in the final overall.[3] Faughs won the match by 5–15 to 3–09 to claim their 25th championship title overall and a first title in 18 years.[4]
