1979 Warwick District Council election

The 1979 Warwick District Council election was held on Thursday 3 May 1979 to elect all 58 members of Warwick District Council to a four-year term, the same day as other local elections in the United Kingdom and the general election. It was preceded by the 1976 election and followed by the 1983 election. The Conservative Party held control of the council. Turnout across the council was 77.5%.[1]
