The 1986 Milwaukee Brewers season was the 17th season for the Brewers in Milwaukee, and their 18th overall. The Brewers finished sixth in the American League East with a record of 77 wins and 84 losses.

Farm system
The Brewers' farm system consisted of five minor league affiliates in 1986.[27] The El Paso Diablos won the Texas League championship,[28] and the Stockton Ports won the California League championship.[29]
