The 1989 Torneo Internazionale Città di Firenze, also known by its sponsored name Volvo Classic, was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts in Florence, Italy that was part of the 1989 Nabisco Grand Prix circuit. It was the 17th edition of the tournament and was played from 22 May until 28 May 1989. Sixth-seeded Horacio de la Peña won the singles title.[3]
