1999 Anambra State gubernatorial election

The 1999 Anambra State gubernatorial election occurred in Nigeria on January 9, 1999. The PDP nominee Chinwoke Mbadinuju won the election, defeating the ABC Nwosu,^[1] the APP candidate.^{[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]}

Chinwoke Mbadinuju emerged winner in the PDP gubernatorial primary election. His running mate was Chinedu Emeka.^[15][16][17]
