2000 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference baseball tournament

Collegiate baseball tournament From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2000 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference baseball tournament took place on May 21, 2000. The top four regular season finishers of the league's teams participated in the tournament held at Dutchess Stadium in Wappingers Falls, New York. Play began on May 18 in a double-elimination format before inclement weather forced the conference to restart the tournament in a single-elimination format held entirely on May 21.[2][3][4] Marist won their first tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2000 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.[5][6][7]
