2008 Honolulu mayoral election

The 2008 Honolulu mayoral election was held between September 20 and November 4, 2008, in order to elect the Mayor of Honolulu. Incumbent Mayor Mufi Hannemann was re-elected after a run-off against Ann Kobayashi.[1]

General Election
Since no candidate had received 50% of the vote in the first round on September 20, 2008, a runoff was held between the top-two finishers on November 4, 2008.[2]
