The 2011 Valley City State Vikings football team represented Valley City State University in the 2011 NAIA football season as an independent. Under head coach Dennis McCulloch, the Vikings finished the season with a 9–2 record, earning a berth in the 2011 NAIA Playoffs.
Valley City State rebounded from an opening season loss to Morningside by winning nine consecutive games, tying the longest winning streak in program history previously set by the 2001 Vikings. The streak carried the team through the into the NAIA playoffs.
The Vikings secured the conference championship behind a balanced offense and a defense that held several conference opponents under 20 points. The team defeated rivals Jamestown and Dickinson State during the streak and finished the regular season with a 25–13 victory over Robert Morris (IL).
Valley City State qualified for the NAIA playoffs and traveled to face perennial power Carroll (MT) in Helena, Montana. The Vikings’ nine-game winning streak ended in the opening round, finishing the season 9–2.
Several Vikings earned postseason honors. LeTheo Proctor was named Most Valuable Player, while Jordan Maher received the conference's Most Valuable Senior award. Eight players were named All-Conference.
In 2025, the 2011 team was inducted into the Valley City State University Athletics Hall of Fame.[1]
