January 17 – COVID-19 pandemic: David James Wadley Jr. becomes the first infant in the state to die from COVID-19.[2]
April 20 – The Organic Valley creamery in McMinnville catches fire. Most of the building is destroyed, and residents within half a mile of the fire are temporarily evacuated.[7]
