2024 East Congo attacks

On February 20, the Allied Democratic Forces militants stormed a town in Beni territory in North Kivu province using guns and machetes killing 11 civilians.^[2] The next day On February 19, rebels associated with the Allied Democratic Forces stormed a town in Mambasa territory, Ituri province killing 13 civilians, most of whom were in their homes.^[3] At least a few dozen civilians have been killed in total,^[4] though the total number could be higher because there were bodies stolen.^[3]
