The 2024–25 New York Islanders season was the 53rd season in the franchise's history.[2] It was their fourth season in UBS Arena.[3] It was their first full season under head coach Patrick Roy, who was the interim head coach for the 2023–24 season after the firing of Lane Lambert on January 20, 2024.[4][5]

On April 12, 2025, the Islanders were eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since the 2021–22 season following their shootout loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.[6]
