The 2025 Balkan Weightlifting Championships (1st Balkan Senior Weightlifting Championships) took place in Durrës, Albania from 1 to 4 December 2025 by Balkan Weightlifting Federation.[1][2][3]
After many years of pause, the Balkan Senior Championship in 2025, the renewed edition of the competition is back. In the distant past, competitions were held in the Balkans. Information about the time and results is not available. However, in the modern era, in 2025, with the participation of 10 countries, the first tournament was held under the name. Balkan Weightlifting Federation was established On October 21, 2024 in Golem, Albania. [4]
