It was the fourth season of the tour under a title sponsorship agreement with DP World that was announced in November 2021.[1]

Changes for 2025

The initial part of the schedule was announced in August 2024, with the "Opening Swing" events confirmed.[2] Tournaments in Australia and Southern Africa were confirmed, with the return of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, which had not been part of the 2024 season due to scheduling changes.[3] The Joburg Open and the Investec South African Open Championship were dropped from the Opening Swing, being rescheduled to March.[4] The remainder of the schedule was announced in November 2024.[5][6] As part of the announcement, it was confirmed that the Turkish Open and Austrian Open would return to the schedule for the first time since 2019 and 2021, respectively.[7][8]
