The 2025 Frederikssund Municipal election was held on November 18, 2025, to elect the 23 members to sit in the regional council for the Frederikssund Municipal council, in the period of 2026 to 2029.[1] Anne Sofie Uhrskov from Venstre, would win the mayoral position. [2]

Following the 2021 election, Tina Tving Stauning from Social Democrats became mayor for her first term. [3] She would run for another term. [4]

Electoral system

For elections to Danish municipalities, a number varying from 9 to 31 are chosen to be elected to the municipal council. The seats are then allocated using the D'Hondt method and a closed list proportional representation. Frederikssund Municipality had 23 seats in 2025.
