2025 Jersey City mayoral election

The 2025 Jersey City mayoral election was held on November 4, 2025. A runoff was held on December 2, 2025, between the top two candidates, as none achieved a majority of the vote in the general election. Incumbent Democratic Mayor Steven Fulop was eligible to seek re-election to a fourth four-year term, but announced he would instead run for governor.[1]
