Overview
The club will try to improve their 2024–25 season where they won one out of four tournaments they competed on. On 11 August, DT Diego Vásquez was sacked due to poor results and was replaced by Javier López.[2] On 28 October, the club lost 1–4 on aggregate to C.S. Cartaginés in the 2025 CONCACAF Central American Cup play-in stage, thus missing the chance to qualify to the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup.[3] On 17 December, after a 0–2 defeat in the group stage against C.D. Olimpia, the club was officially eliminated from the Apertura tournament.[4] On 24 May, the club obtained its 20th league title after defeating C.D. Marathón in the Clausura finals.[5]
