On April 13, 2026, the Predators were eliminated from playoff contention for the second consecutive season following their loss to the San Jose Sharks and a win by the Los Angeles Kings against the Seattle Kraken.[1]

- The Ottawa Senators' first-round pick went to the Nashville Predators as the result of a trade on June 27, 2025, that sent Tampa Bay's first-round pick and a third-round pick both in 2025 (23rd and 67th overall) to Ottawa in exchange for this pick.[120]
