Soi Wat Lat Pla Duk shooting

According to an investigation, authorities found the dead bodies of the suspect's paternal grandparents at a residential estate at the Soi Wat Lat Pla Duk in Bang Bua Thong district. They suspect that the perpetrator killed them prior to attacking the school.^[7][8] The perpetrator's neighbors and relatives who live nearby stated that they had not heard any gunshots prior.^[9] It was determined that the perpetrator fatally shot his grandfather in the kitchen before shooting his grandmother while she was sleeping. Both were killed by single gunshot wounds to the head.^[10]

Debsirin School shooting

The second shooting occurred at the Debsirin School's Nonthaburi campus around 9:30 to 9:50 a.m.^[11] The student was wearing a purple physical education uniform and a black cross-body bag when he opened fire inside the school.^[12][3][13] He began shooting at teachers and students in room 3/8 on the sixth floor of building 5, starting with the math teacher, then leaving the room to shoot at teachers and students in room 565, resulting in two deaths. After that, at 9:53 a.m., he went down to the fifth floor, changed his magazine, and tried to shoot students but the gun jammed. He then went down to the fourth floor and shot Kittipong Somrat, the deputy director of student affairs, and Saiphon Sirikitjachakhon, an officer of the student affairs office, resulting in their deaths. After that, he went down to the third floor and fired shots into the Thai language teachers' lounge and then walked into various classrooms firing shots. After that, he returned to the 5th floor.^[14][15] He barricaded himself on the third floor of the school building.^[12] The assailant reportedly entered a computer room in the school shortly before he committed suicide.^[16] According to an emergency worker, the assailant shot himself in the head and was still alive by the time first responders arrived. At least 26 shots were fired during the attack.^[17]

Around 10:00 a.m., officers from the Plai Bang Police Station and a special operations unit cordoned off the area. Teachers and school staff evacuated students by around 10:15 a.m., while medical teams transported the injured to hospitals. The police declared the situation under control at 10:30 a.m.^[11]
