After a first half struggle in the 2025–26 Danish Superliga that saw the Lions sent to the Relegation Group for the 2nd half of the season, the squad rallied to qualify and win the European Playoff game and qualify for the 2026–27 UEFA Conference League. The team will also look to improve on its runner-up finish in the 2026–27 Danish Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
