- This Japan-only release is slightly different from the subsequent internationally-released compilation, featuring a different cover and track listing. The later-released compilation was also released in Japan.
- Chart position in 2001
- This EP, also known by its lead track "Kill the King", originally peaked at number 44 in 1977 on the UK Singles Chart. However, upon reissue in July 1981, it peaked at number 41.
- "Temple of the King" was only released as a single in New Zealand, Southeast Asia and South America.
- "Still I'm Sad" was only released as a single in Italy.
- "Starstruck" was not released as a single in the UK, but was released in the US, Continental Europe and Australasia.
- "Difficult to Cure" was only released as a single in the Netherlands and Germany.
- Whilst "Jealous Lover" was released as an EP in the US, it was released as a 2-track single in Canada.
- "Magic" was only released as a single in Japan.
- "Death Alley Driver" was only released as a single in the Netherlands, Japan and Bolivia.
- "Ariel" was only released as a single in Continental Europe.
