Description
The livestream typically operates continuously, but is offline on Shabbat and most Jewish Holidays. Daily Tefilla, Shiurs, Siyums,[4][5] Farbrangens[6] and other events[7] are all livestreamed on the site. The organization has a YouTube channel where highlighted Shiurs are cropped and published.[8][9][10] The domain 770live.com was registered on November 16th 1999.[11] An accompanying audio broadcast is also available via telephone at 718-682-0770.
The sites tagline is "770 Live - your window to the Rebbe's shul!"
Special events, such as annual Hannukah menorah lightings are livestreamed, [12][13] as well as the annual Chabad Simchas Beis Hashoeva on Kingston Ave among other events.[14]
The video feed comes from an automatically rotating camera located behind the Torah reading platform in the main synagogue space, commonly referred to as the zal. During conferences and events, the camera is manually adjusted.
Beyond the livestream, the website includes updated links to daily study cycles the men in Chabad participate in, includig Chitas, Rambam, Hayom Yom, and Dvar Malchus. A daily Rebbe picture and weekly Rebbe video are also posted.[1]
