A. B. Rajendra

After school Rajendra joined the Government Clerical Service.^[1] After a series of promotions he became an Administrative Officer at the Education Department.^[1] He worked at the department for nearly 35 years.^[1]

Rajendra was an official translator for the government and Interpreter Mudaliyar to the British Governor.^[1] He was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 1953 New Year Honours.^[1][2]

After retirement Rajendra was appointed to the Senate of Ceylon.^[1] He died in 1963.^[1]
