The population in Aadbel are mainly Greek Orthodox and Greek Catholics.[2]
History
In 1838, Eli Smith noted the village, which he called 'Adbel, located east of esh-Sheikh Mohammed.[3]
Demographics
In 2014, Christians made up 99.32% of registered voters in Aadbel. 83.09% of the voters were Greek Orthodox, 9.21% were Greek Catholics and 6.34% were Maronite Catholics.[4]
