Acesander From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Ancient Greek historian Acesander (Greek Ἀκέσανδρος) wrote a history of Cyrene.[1][2] Plutarch speaks of a work of his respecting Libya (περί Λιβύης),[3] which may possibly be the same work as the history of Cyrene. The time at which he lived is unknown.[4] ↑ Schol. ad Apoll. iv. 1561, 1750 ↑ Schol. ad Pind.
