Achkhoy-Martanovsky District

Achkhoy-Martanovsky District (Russian: Ачхо́й-Марта́новский райо́н; Chechen: Тӏеьха-Мартан кӏошт, Theẋa-Martan khoşt) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of fifteen in the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 1,100 square kilometers (420 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Achkhoy-Martan.[1]
