Adil Gabil oghlu Karimli (Azerbaijani: Adil Qabil oğlu Kərimlı; born October 22, 1979) is an Azerbaijani politician who serves as Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan since 2023.
Adil Karimli was born on October 22, 1979, in Baku. From 1986, he studied at Baku city school No. 42, in 1995, he graduated from high school and was admitted to the Faculty of Law of Baku State University. In 1999, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the university with a bachelor's degree, and in 2001, a master's degree with honors. In 2002, he was admitted to the department of Criminal Law and Criminology of Baku State University as a doctoral student, and in 2007 he defended his PhD thesis and was received the scientific degree of Candidate of Law (Ph.D. in Law) on May 5, 2009.[1]
Adil Karimli is fluent in English and Russian. He is married and has three children. He is a reserve officer specializing in military law.
