Admire Aura (Japanese: アドマイヤオーラ, 19 February 2004 – 3 March 2015)[1] was a Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse. He was active from 2006 to 2010 and earned 276,865,000 yen during his racing career.[2]

Admire Aura was born on February 19, 2004, on Northern Farm located in Abira, Hokkaido. He was sired by Agnes Tachyon, an undefeated Japanese racehorse[3] who also sired other racehorses such as Daiwa Scarlet and Deep Sky.[4] His grandsire, Sunday Silence, was a leading sire in Japan for thirteen consecutive years, from 1995 to 2007.[5] His dam is Biwa Heidi [ja] who was sired by Caerleon, who was also a leading sire in Great Britain and Ireland in 1988 and 1991.[6] Biwa Heidi was a successful broodmare who not only foaled Admire Aura, but also Buena Vista and Joie de Vivre, both of whom won Grade I races in Japan, as well as Rottenmeier, who foaled Embroidery.[7]
