Agnes Rahajeng

Agnes was born on January 13, 2000, in the United States and spent part of her childhood in California before eventually moving and living in Bali for an extended period. She is the youngest of three children of Christoporus Harno and Maria Ekawati. Her father is a professional with a multicultural background, while her mother is originally from Blora Regency, Central Java. She has two older sisters, Maria Rahajeng and Elizabeth Rahajeng.^[3]

Agnes pursued her higher education at Pelita Harapan University (UPH) in Tangerang, majoring in Communication Studies from 2018 to 2022. She successfully completed her studies with a Bachelor of Communication degree (S.I.Kom.) and graduated with Cum Laude honors. Her move to Tangerang for university was later followed by her parents, who relocated from Bali to Jakarta to reunite with their three children.^[3]

In 2026, Agnes decided to enter the world of beauty pageants by participating in the finalist selection for the Puteri Indonesia 2026 competition. Initially, she registered to represent Central Java, referring to her extended family’s roots in Blora Regency. However, based on the results of the central audition and the judges’ considerations, Agnes was reassigned to represent Banten Province. This decision was influenced by her residence in South Tangerang and her educational background in the province. After the reassignment, she successfully won the regional selection and was crowned Puteri Indonesia Banten 2026, earning the right to represent Banten at the national level.^[4]

After qualifying as a provincial representative with the title Puteri Indonesia Banten 2026, she represented Banten in the national-level Puteri Indonesia 2026 pageant, held at the Plenary Hall of the Jakarta International Convention Center in Central Jakarta on April 24, 2026. During the pre-elimination and quarantine period, Agnes received four special awards, Best Traditional Costume, Best Profile Video, Best Catwalk, and Best Makeup.^[5]

At the end of the event, Agnes was crowned the winner. She was crowned by her predecessor, Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri from East Java. This victory marked the first time Banten Province won the competition.^[6]
