Agodi Gardens is a tourist attraction in the city of Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.[1] Also called Agodi Botanical Gardens, Agodi Gardens, Ibadan, the gardens sit on 150 acres of land[citation needed][2][3]

It offers a green space with a zoo. Visitors can observe animals like turtles, monkeys, and peacocks. It serves as a peaceful retreat for both locals and tourists.[4] It’s a space that combines nature, fun, and culture all in one.[5]

Agodi Gardens, formerly known as Agodi Zoological and Botanical Gardens,[6][7] was created in 1967.[8] The garden was destroyed by the Ogunpa flood disaster in 1980 as most of the animals were swept away by the raging water. The garden was renovated in 2012 by the Oyo State Government, and was reopened in 2014.[9]
