Ahmad Magomedov (Russian: Ахмад Магомедов; born 1995) is a Russian-born freestyle wrestler who competes for North Macedonia. He is a 2023 European Wrestling Championships bronze medalist in the 79 kg division.
Magomedov trained at the Sadulaev Wrestling School in Makhachkala, Russia.[1] In early 2022, he acquired North Macedonian citizenship, together with fellow wrestler Rasul Shapiev.[2]
In January 2023, he became national champion of North Macedonia in Skopje, winning three matches by technical superiority.[3]
He competed at the 2023 Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament in Sofia but did not medal.[4]
On 18 April 2023, Magomedov won a bronze medal at the 2023 European Wrestling Championships in Zagreb, defeating Armenia's Arman Avagyan in the bronze medal match.[5]
In January 2024, he became Macedonian national champion again in Kočani.[6]
