Akatorea otagoensis is a species of Desidae that is endemic to New Zealand.[1]

This species was described by Ray Forster in 1973 from female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]

Description

The female is recorded at 8.02mm in length. The carapace and legs are coloured orange brown. The abdomen is creamy with black bands dorsally.[1]
