Alam Jan Mehsud was a Pakistani general and sports administrator from South Waziristan.[1][2] He served as inspector general of Frontier Corps Balochistan in the late 1970s and was serving as commander of IV Corps in Lahore in 1990. He also became the first president of the National Rifle Association of Pakistan when it was revived in 1986.[3][4]
Mehsud belonged to South Waziristan.[1]
