Albert William Recht

Albert William Recht (March 22, 1898 January 8, 1962) was an American astronomer, mathematician and educator. He had a 30-year career at the University of Denver.[1] The crater Recht located on the far side of the Moon is named after him.[2][3]

Recht was born in Cleveland, Ohio.[1] He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1939.[1]
