Alejandro Pacheco

Alejandro Pacheco (born September 5, 1972) is a Venezuelan speaker, commentator and television sports producer.[1] He has worked in television production and hosted Binomio Venezuela, an equestrian show jumping program broadcast on Meridiano Televisión.

Early career
Alejandro Pacheco trained as a civil engineer before pursuing a career in sports media.[2] He began his work in broadcasting in 1999 at Radio Deportes 1590AM, under the guidance of Venezuelan sports journalist Herman "Chiquitin" Ettedgui. During this period, Pacheco focused on covering results from Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association and other sports. He was involved in producing daily updates on Venezuelan baseball players participating in both domestic and international leagues, including the Minor League Baseball, Independent baseball league, Mexican League and Japan League. Pacheco worked at Radio Deporte for four years, collaborating with sports commentators such as Duilio Di Giacomo, Reyes Alamo, Ramon Corro, Tony Cruz, Rene Rincon, and Ettedgui.
Television career
Pancheco began working in television in 2000 and joined Meridiano TV in November 2003. He co-hosted the live sports magazine program La Voz del Fanatico[3](Voice of the Fan) alongside Ramón Corro, a show that aired weekdays until 2011. During this period, he also participated in coverage of sporting events, including games by the Venezuelan Professional Basketball League (LPB), National Basketball Association (NBA), Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), Major League Baseball (MLB), the Caribbean Series and World Baseball Classic.
Pacheco later worked on broadcasts of major multi-sport events such as the Olympic Games, Central American and Caribbean Games, South American Basketball Championship and Bolivarian Games.
In 2011, he launched Binomio Venezuela, an equestrian sports program on Meridiano Television, where he served as producer and host. The show focuses on national and international show jumping competitions. Pacheco has covered events in North America, South America and Europe, including the FEI World Equestrian Games (Normandy 2014 and Tryon 2018), the American and South American Championships, Bolivarian Games, and Central American and Caribbean Games.
