Alexandru Candiano-Popescu (Romanian pronunciation: [alekˈsandru kandiˈano poˈpesku]; January 27, 1841 – June 25, 1901) was a Romanian army general, lawyer, journalist, and poet, best known for his role in the Republic of Ploieşti conspiracy.
