Ali Momeni (علی مؤمنی; born 4 July 2004) is an Iranian freestyle wrestler.[1] He won the bronze medal at the 2024 U23 World Wrestling Championships.[2]

Career

Momeni was born in Arateh, Mazandaran.[3]

At the 2024 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana, he won the bronze medal in the men's freestyle 57 kg event.[4] In 2025, he competed at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships and finished 17th in the men's freestyle 57 kg category.[5]

Later in 2025, Momeni won the bronze medal at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh. After receiving a bye in the opening round, he lost 4–2 to Azerbaijan's Islam Bazarghanov in the semi-finals and moved into the bronze-medal bout. He then won the bronze medal match to finish on the podium.[6]
