Allocosa algoensis is a species of spider in the family Lycosidae.[2] It is endemic to South Africa and is commonly known as the Port Elizabeth Allocosa wolf spider.[3]
Allocosa algoensis is known only from Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape.[3]

Conservation
Allocosa algoensis is listed as Data Deficient by the South African National Biodiversity Institute. The species has a very limited known range and the status remains obscure. Additional sampling is needed to determine the species' range.[3]
