Alok Kumar Rai (born 20 January 1976) is a professor of marketing at the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University,[1][2][3][4] currently serving as the Director of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta since 15 July 2025.[5] He previously served as the 40th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lucknow from December 2019 to July 2025.[6][7]
