David Alun Williams, OBE (26 August 1920 – 30 March 1992)[1] was a Welsh radio presenter who became one of the best known voices on BBC radio when he commentated on events such as the Coronation in 1953[2] and sports events including rugby, swimming and the Olympic Games.[3]
